HCFD is currently training for a tunnel and bridge project that will be taking place over the next ten years through the heart of our district.  In preparation the department is teaming up with Louisville Fire and Rescue and training for an MSAR (Metro Search and Rescue) team.  Currently there are four members from the department in the class and at least six more will be a part of the next class starting in June of 2006.  During the class each participant will be trained in Rope, Confined Space, Trench, Water, and Structural Collapse rescue.  Here are some photos taken during the trainings.
