On February 12, 2005, the Harrods Creek Fire Department was dispatched to assist the North Oldham Fire Department with a working structure fire. NOFD 1404 arrived on-scene and reported heavy smoke showing and then quickly changed the report to fire showing from side 1 of the structure. NOFD 1455 and HCFD 1235 arrived simultaneously. While 1455's crew stretched a 2" line into service, HCFD personnel were preparing to perform vertical ventilation. HCFD units that responded to the box were 1235, 1257, 1256, 1207 and 1203.
