On May 7th, 2008 HCFD Boat 1291 responded with Louisville Fire and Rescue to a fire on the Big Four railroad bridge.  Railroad ties were set on fire after an electrical problem with navigation wires on the bridge.  1291 was able to extinguish the blaze using the rooftop monitor flowing about 1560 GPM.  It took about three hours to bring under control.
